twitch chat games
A game your Twitch chat can control
Most "chat plays" setups need a bot account, an extension or a mod that has to be approved. One More Try needs none of that. You type your channel name, the game reads your chat, and viewers can flip your screen, kill the lights or blow you off a ledge with a single command.
How it works
When you press Connect, your browser opens a read-only, anonymous connection straight to Twitch chat, the same way a chat overlay does. It never logs in as you, never posts anything, and nothing passes through our server. Close the tab and the connection is gone.
Every chat message is checked for a command. If someone types !dark and the cooldown is over, the lights go out on your screen and their name appears with the effect, so chat knows exactly who to blame.
What chat can do
| Chat types | What happens | Lasts | Key |
!flip | Turns the whole screen upside-down | 6 s | 1 |
!mirror | Mirrors the screen left-to-right | 7 s | 2 |
!reverse | Swaps left and right controls | 5 s | 3 |
!dark | Lights out, you only see a small spotlight | 7 s | 4 |
!wind | A headwind pushes you backwards | 6 s | 5 |
!heavy | Heavy gravity, tiny jumps | 6 s | 6 |
!zoom | Camera zooms right in on you | 7 s | 7 |
!quake | Earthquake, the screen shakes | 4 s | 8 |
!moon | Moon gravity, floaty jumps | 7 s | 9 |
!turbo | You run 1.6x faster | 6 s | – |
!tiny | Shrinks you (this one actually helps) | 8 s | – |
!hype | Confetti. Harmless. Pure vibes. | 2.5 s | – |
Plus: after you die, chat typing F, rip, o7 or 💀 gets counted on screen.
Keeping it playable
- Cooldown: only one chat command fires per cooldown window (default 20 seconds, adjustable from 5 to 60).
- Chaos on/off: one switch turns chat commands off without disconnecting, for when you actually want to finish a level.
- No chat? Chaos roulette fires a random effect every 20 to 60 seconds, and keys 1–9 fire effects by hand.
Set it up
- Open the game in Chrome, Edge or Firefox: onemoretry.quizfaceoff.com. Nothing to download.
- Press Streamer mode, type your Twitch channel name and press Connect. The status line turns green and says Connected.
- Add it to OBS with a Window Capture of the browser window (a Browser Source can't receive your keyboard, so you couldn't play it).
- Tell chat the commands. Pin "type !flip !dark !wind to ruin my run" and let them go.
Questions
Does it need my Twitch password or a bot?
No. The connection is anonymous and read-only. You only type your channel name.
Does it work with YouTube or Kick chat?
Not yet. Chat commands are Twitch only. On other platforms you can still use the chaos roulette and the 1–9 keys.
Is it free?
Yes. Free, in the browser, no account.
